Majora's Mask proves that video games can have story, but can also be extremely subtle--the cutscenes are few and far between, and they are extremely visual. No lengthy explanations of the characters' motivations, just poignancy and music and image and only the words necessary to allow the player to begin to understand. AHHHH so clever.
I do miss Ganondorf, though. THE BIG LUG HAS GROWN ON ME, OKAY? It's totally the nose.
And come summertime I know that I will run right back to Wind Waker and the Earthsea islands and sunlit cel shading, but it is October, I am ready for some bright colors and dark shadows and funhouse mirror transformations.
...I think maybe I could go to grad school and write things after all, if I got to write about stuff like Majora's Mask. I don't know how on earth I'm going to make that work.

Jeremy: You went to art school--you should be good at this.
Richard: Did you go to art school?
Jeremy: No I didn't.
Richard: Then you wouldn't know. All you do at art school is drink and pursue women.

Dealing with sex is like dealing with breathmints. It\'s more polite to offer than to tell someone they DESPERATELY need it.
